God's Masterpiece April 2026

God's Masterpiece is the title of a Fine Art America Contest I try to run once a quarter as a reminder, that any and all of inspiration comes from the greatest artist of all, God.

The contest celebrates the divine inspiration behind every brushstroke, pixel, and photograph. This contest invites artists of all mediums to showcase nature—God’s original canvas. Whether it’s a blooming flower, a majestic animal, or a sweeping landscape, your work is a reflection of the beauty He designed.

I am not asking for innovation beyond creation—I'm honoring it. Every artist, knowingly or not, draws from the wonders God has already made. Even the most imaginative works echo something rooted in His design. This contest is about giving credit where it’s due: to the ultimate Creator.

The theme of the contest is nature without humans. Nature Without Humans

While yes, humans are God's masterpiece too, humans tend to make everything about them or at least more about them than everything else in the natural world. Humans destroy nature with their inventions and creations. This is a time to take in nature and hopefully remind not just the artists but the viewers of the art, that this world is about more than just humans. It's about our relationship with God and how we take care of all he has created for us to enjoy.

FIRST PLACE
